Q. "Do you have an actual website I can visit or is this blogsite IT?"

A. This is it! As of right now I've only had the time and resources to run the blogsite/website. Is it techincally the best way to run an online business? I don't know?!? But you know what? It works fabulously for me! I do have a real website I've been fiddling with but refuse to release it until it's just right...so you'll have to bear with me. I'm very much a self-taught kind of girl so it might take me a little longer to get things up and running...but I'll get there!

Q. " I love all of your designs but I'm looking for something to match this bedding. Can you make a design to look like this?"

A. Custom orders are some of my very favorite. I would love to make a custom order for you! Just send me an email and let me know what you're looking for!

Q. "You've already sent me three proofs of designs with different fonts and colors...can you send me about four more so I can compare?"

A. While I love to custom design...I can only spend so much time on each order. Please try to limit your proofs and revisions. If you're having a hard time deciding between fonts, spend some time on my fonts and design pages and look around. It's best if you have your suggestions narrowed down to about three designs/fonts you'd like to look at...and then we can go from there. Ultimately, I want you to be thrilled with your product...so if we're having a little difficulty getting it right, don't worry! Now...if you're just being difficult.... :)

Q. "I really LOVE your sippy cups/brag books/melamine trays....can I have this rush order completed and to me by the end of the week?"

A. General rule of thumb: place all orders 2-3 weeks ahead of the date you *need* them. However, I'm a mom too and know exactly what it's like to forget and have a rush order. If you need your order by a certain date please let me know during our correspondence so I can put you to the front of the list. In some circumstances I can rush your order free of charge. If you have a rush order on Melamine Trays/Plates/Bowls there is an additional charge.

Q. "When you sent me the proof for my teal insert it looked teal and when I got the product in hand, the shade is a couple shades darker/lighter/brighter....why?"

A. Computer monitors are as different as snowflakes. Bright teal might look dull teal on your monitor and likewise. While I try to get as exact as possible...colors may vary. In general, the color you see should be close to the color you receive. Just keep in mind the monitor resolution may translate a little differently.

Q. "Do you have a phone number listed where I can call in orders?"

A. I don't have a phone number listed on my website for security/sanity reasons. I'm not much of a phone talker to begin with but it really is much easier to place orders via the internet. Main reason being that I need you to OK your proof before I send your items to prints. If you MUST contact me via telephone, send me an email and I'll give you my number! :)

Q. "Do you offer wholesale pricing or discounts for bulk orders?"

A. Glad you asked! I LOVE wholesale orders and do offer discounts for bulk orders. Send me an email at sdkent0079@aol.com and I'll get all the details to you!

Q. "I'm a friend of your sister's friend...can you give me discount pricing?"

A. I set my prices as to be competitive without compromising quality. As much as I'd LOVE to give my products away, I'm also longing for the day I can stay at home with my precious daughter. I do offer discount pricing for bulk or wholesale orders. Feel free to contact me for more information on those.

I'm a HUGE bargain shopper though so I'd like to suggest watching the website frequently for new deals/specials and one day sales. You never know when I'm going to run a little sale on your favorite item!

Q. "Where'd you get the name MellyRoo?"

A. When I made the big decision to start a business I consulted my Marketing Guru sister as to what I should name my business. I knew I wanted something that had meaning to me, but I also knew the importance of having something catchy. As I thought up a name I'd Google it, to see if there was any business out there with the same name. Guess what.?...there are TONS of businesses with cute names, making my search for the perfect name even more difficult.

As this search continued my sister & I exchanged tons of emails back and forth, thinking up names and discussing why the name would or wouldn't work. One day my sister said...or typed..."What about MellyRoo?" MellyRoo is the name my sister affectionately calls my daughter Melanie. After thinking about it I decided....why not?! And so it was....

Not as exciting of a story as you thought it'd be, huh?!?

Q. "Is MellyRoo all you do all day? How fun!"

A. Glad you asked! Actually MellyRoo is my third full-time job. I'm a mommy, work in the corporate world and MellyRoo every chance I get. MellyRoo is my creative outlet and has been my saving grace when I'm walking the line between stressed out mom and overworked business woman. MellyRoo is my pride & joy and brings a little passion to my life.

Q. "So, what does your husband do while you work all the time?"

A. My hubby is the most fabulously supportive man ever! He has always supported my crazy dreams from selling vacuums....oh yes! I did sell vacuums....to starting a business out of the corner of my living room. We're both very outgoing and always have the need to be doing something to keep us busy. The hubby...Tim....drives a racecar, fishes, hunts, bowls and spoils Melanie Lynn rotten. He's usually preoccupied with his own activity while I'm working MellyRoo in the evening. On a rare occasion you may have even had the pleasure of receiving package he packed or brought the post office for me. He's good like that! :)

Q. "Did you know there is a typo on this post?"

A. No, where? Tell me! No, seriously!?!?! Tell me if you see a typo...I have no shame and I'd rather fix it than let it sit out there for all the world to read.

Oh, and if you didn't notice...I never paid attention to the grammar and punctuation lessons in grade school! :) This is why I need your help with typos, maybe I won't look so silly!
